Vláďa rolls (this news is only for lawyers :))

We are supporting our colleague JUDr. Vladimír Lajsek, Ph.D., in his candidacy for the Disciplinary Commission of the Czech Bar Association. Vláďa is running for the Komora 2.0 initiative. The Bar Assembly will take place on 22.10.2021 https://bit.ly/3mfG4JQ.

Fellow attorneys, let's try to find some time in our crowded schedules. Vláďa and everyone from Komora 2.0 are worth it!

"If elected, I would like to work to combat actions that are truly harmful to clients and the legal profession as a whole. However, I do not think that the Chamber should be a censor of, for example, non-professional life. That should largely be left to the personal choice of each of us. The client is ultimately the one who chooses the lawyer with whom he or she will get along."

Vláďa specialises primarily in real estate, litigation, personal data protection, intellectual property and contract law. He previously worked in the judiciary and as a corporate lawyer at a bank. He graduated from the Faculty of Law of Charles University where he also lectured later on. In the past, he studied at Lancaster University in the United Kingdom and at Technische Universität Dresden in Germany. He also completed many internships, especially in the Senate of the Czech Republic and at the Parliamentary Institute. He authored an independent monograph, as well as many professional articles, mainly in the journals Právník and Právní rozhledy.  In 2010, he won the SVOČ competition. In 2019, he placed 3rd in the IUS et SOCIETAS competition. As part of his candidacy for the Disciplinary Commission, he would like to offer his experience not only from the Bar but also from the judiciary.
