If so, then please do not forget the obligation in force from July 1, 2016, to publish the contracts made with public entities in the register of contractss newly established by Act no. 340/2015 Coll. providing for special terms of effect of some contracts, publication of such contracts and for the register of contracts (the Act on the Register of Contracts).
Participants in prohibited cartels face actions for damages
This year, the Collection of Laws will be extended by a law providing for the compensation for damage in competition. By the end of 2016, it is actually necessary to incorporate into Czech law Directive 2014/104/EU on certain rules regulating the actions for damages pursuant to domestic law in the case of infringement of competition regulations of member states and the EU.

Winter holidays with the Bunny on the Horse
In January and February 2016 nearly forty children, all with various handicaps, experienced a fabulous week of sporting activities in Boží Dar organized by the Bunny on the Horse, www.zajiceknakoni.cz.
A change in the VAT exemption applicable to the transfer of land
In January 1, 2016, an amendment to Act no. 235/2004 Coll., providing for value added tax, has come into effect. The tax significantly changes the definition of a building plot. An extension of the definition of a building plot under Section 56 ss. 2 of the (amended) VAT law may result in a situation in which the transfer of a building plot, which was exempt from VAT under the preceding regulation, will no longer be exempt after the adoption of the amendment.
The change of rules applicable to the payment of the real property acquisition tax has not yet been approved
An amendment to the Senate statutory provision amending the real property acquisition tax, which provides in particular for the transfer of the obligation to pay the tax from the transferor to the transferee, will not come into effect as was originally intended on April 1 2016.
