It's done!
After 3 months of intensive work, we’ve completed the acquisition of a retail park in Rijeka, Croatia for 1 billion CZK for our client ZDR Investments.
We successfully coordinated the project with our colleagues from Austria and Croatia. Among other things, we fought our way through the "standard" acquisition pitfalls, when the settlement mechanism completely changed just before signing or documents that were not available during the legal due diligence started to surface. And, as the icing on the cake, everything was in German.
The whole transaction was managed by our partner Lukáš Žáček, our excellent lawyer Sylva Slezáková did an excellent job, and we can’t forget our associate Tomáš Koref, who also played a big role in the success.
