Submitting utility bills to your tenants late or incorrectly can come at a high price!
The lease of an apartment is governed not only by the provisions of the lease agreement and the Civil Code, but also by Act No.67/2013 Coll. on the provision of benefits associated with the use of apartments and non-residential premises in a building with apartments.
According to this law, the billing must be delivered to the tenant within 4 months from the end of the billing period with a financial settlement.
If this is not done, the landlord may be fined for each day of delay.
So be careful and bill your tenants on time!
