Up to 150,000 properties and over 3,500 buildings may be forfeited to the state by the end of the year!

The Office for the Representation of the State in Property Matters (ÚSZVM) registers these properties and buildings as having an insufficiently identified owner. 10 years ago, the Civil Code set a deadline for correcting insufficiently registered ownership – this deadline expires on December 31, 2023! Property that is not claimed by owners will be forfeited to the state.
